Modelling and Simulate a Cam and Follower Assembly (Solid Edge ST9 Tutorial)

In this video we will display how to create and simulate a ‘Cam and Follower’ assembly using ‘Solid Edge ST9’ software. Initially we will show the way to create cam and follower parts and then we will place them in assembly. For creating animation of the assembly we will apply relationships between the two parts like Planner Align, Mate and Cam. Next we will apply Rotational Motor command over Cam. To display simulation of the assembly we will activate Simulate Motor command.

The Cam and Follower part files are taken from the book ‘Mastering Autodesk Inventor’.
