Change the Default background and Text color in Windows 8.1 Pro, 64 bit (with caption and audio narration)
Transcription of the Video
- To choose 'Personalize' option, right-click on the desktop.
- Now the 'Personalization' dialogue box is visible in front of the screen.
- Go to the 'High Contrast Themes' and select the 'High Contrast White' button.
- Minimize the window, click on the File Explorer button.
- Now, the 'High Contrast White' theme is activated on the screen.
- Return back to the 'Personalization' dialogue box.
- In the 'High Contrast' field, choose 'Colour' option.
- In 'Color and Appearance' dialogue box, go to the 'Window background' tab and change the RGB value of window background colour according to your choice.
- Click OK to execute the command.
- Set two window applications parallel simultaneously to watch the result.
- Click apply button, now you will see that the background colour of window has changed.
- In the same way, go to the 'Text' tab, change the text colour of the window and apply it.
- Now see that the text colour of the window became changed.
- Go to the 'Button' tab and change the Background and Foreground colour of the window.
- Click 'Save Changes' button.
- Maximize the window and observe the result.
- Go back to the 'Personalization' dialogue box and save the theme by name.
- Here are some more options such as go to the windows default theme or custom theme.
