Strainer (Solid Edge ST9 Tutorial)
In this tutorial we will demonstrate the modelling process of an assembly named ‘Strainer’. The assembly contains three parts. The top down approach has been adapted in creating the assembly.
The highlight of the video is that the viewer will learn how to create holes on a cylindrical surface, additionally the way to utilize the pattern feature efficiently. There is a problem in solid edge that the software does not contain pattern feature in 2D sketching mode. To deal with this situation we will utilize surface tools.
