Animation of Hinge || Using Creo Mechanism

Animation of Hinge--Using Creo Mechanism

This PTC Creo 3.0 tutorial will show how to animate the model of a ‘Hinge’ using the Creo Mechanism application. This application is used to move and analyze the motion of a Mechanism.
The Hinge model has three parts. First, we will put them in the assembly and apply constraints between them. A pre-defined constraint set will be used to create a ‘Pin Mechanism’.  Later by using a Servo Motor we will run the pin mechanism.
The Servo Motor will run at a velocity of 10 deg/sec. And total Dynamic Analysis of mechanism will run for 19.1 seconds.

By watching this tutorial viewers will observe and learn the following tools/commands of the software:--

  1. Placing components in assembly.
  2. Applying component references to fully constrain components
  3. Applying constraints between parts
  4. Using pre-defined constraint set which are used for creating mechanism.
  5. Using Creo Mechanism Application.
  6. Inserting Servo Motor.
  7. Dynamic Analysis of Mechanism.
  8. Using Playback command which is used to replay the previously run analysis.

Note:--
………………..

To understand the video easily, focus over places where we have paused our mouse. This is done so as the viewers can easily read the command instructions/tooltips generated by the software and understand what is being done and why.
