Serial No. 227

AC-Motor (SolidWorks 2015 Tutorial)

In this SolidWorks tutorial, we have created a model named ‘AC-Motor’. This assembly consists of two parts one is motor and second is the motor shaft. AC-Motor is a Subassembly of ‘Blower’. The Design of ‘AC-Motor’ has been taken from Assembly of 'Blower' → ‘Sample files’ → Autodesk Inventor.

In this SolidWorks tutorial, we will describe how to build the model of ‘AC-Motor’. It will cover the following topics. • Creating 2D Sketches on different Planes of the model. • Use the sketch constraints with the aid of ‘Add/Relation’ tool that is applied on during sketch creation. • Use feature commands such as Revolved Boss/Base, Extruded Boss/Base, Extruded Cut, Circular Pattern, Linear Pattern, Mirror, Chamfer and the Fillet tool. • Adds the Extruded Cut feature to create a hole on the face of the model. • Use the Circular Pattern and Linear Pattern tool to create multiple instances of one feature.
