Dear Viewers, We will create a model 'Ball Bearing' in Siemens NX 1855 Software. In this video, we will create a base 2D sketch with the help of the Rectangle, Circle and Line command over the datum plane and afterwards, revolve the base sketch by using the Revolve command as well as we will create a circular pattern of one small ball eight times for making this Bearing part.

In this SolidWorks Tutorial we will describe how to build the model of ‘Ball End’. It is a part modelling tutorial, it will cover the following topics.

  • Creating 2D Sketches on different Planes of the model.
  • Use the sketch constraints by using ‘Add/Relation’ tool that are applied on during sketch creation.
  • Use feature commands such as Revolved Boss/Base, Revolved Cut, Extruded Boss/Base, Split Line, Draft, Hole Wizard, Fillet and Chamfer tool.
  • Adds the Split Line feature by selecting an intersection of face of the part and plane.
