‘Front Side Plate L’ a mirrored version of this part has also been created  by using ‘Part Copy’ command.

In this Siemens NX Tutorial we will describe how to build the model of ‘Front Side Plate R’. It is a part modeling tutorial, it will cover the following topics.

In this SolidWorks Tutorial we will describe how to build the model of ‘Front Side Plate R’. ‘Front Side Plate L’ has also been created by using ‘Mirror Part’ command. It is a part modelling tutorial, it will cover the following topics.

  • Creating 2D Sketches on different Planes of the model.
  • Use the sketch constraints with help of Add Relation tool that are applied on during sketch creation.
  • Use feature commands such as Extruded Boss/Base, Extruded Cut, Rib, Chamfer, Hole Wizard, Mirror Part and Fillet tool.
  • Adds the Tapped holes on the model with cosmetic thread by using Hole Wizard command.
